Mission & Goals
Our Mission: To prevent abuse of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs among the University of Minnesota student population.

Goals of SNAP

  1. Work to create a health-promoting student culture and surrounding environment.
     
  2. Utilize a comprehensive prevention approach including education, social marketing campaigns, policy and advocacy efforts.
     
  3. Support the University of Minnesota students’ efforts in making safe and healthy choices concerning alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs.
     
  4. Reduce harm and negative effects associated with overuse of alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs by the University of Minnesota student population.
