Our Mission: To prevent abuse of alcohol, tobacco and other
drugs among the University of Minnesota student population.
Goals of SNAP
- Work to create a health-promoting student culture and
surrounding environment.
- Utilize a comprehensive prevention approach including
education, social marketing campaigns, policy and advocacy
efforts.
- Support the University of Minnesota students’ efforts in
making safe and healthy choices concerning alcohol, tobacco, and
other drugs.
- Reduce harm and negative effects associated with overuse of
alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs by the University of Minnesota
student population.
