Primary Care

The primary care clinic provides general health care by appointment. We encourage you to select one physician, nurse practitioner or physician's assistant as your primary care provider and to ask for that person each time you make an appointment. By doing so, you can develop a continuing relationship with the provider that will contribute to the quality of care you receive.

For treatment of minor illnesses and injuries, or for tuberculin tests, blood pressure checks, immunizations, and HIV/AIDS testing and counseling, you may see a specially trained nurse.

Although we do not currently have a dermatologist on staff, many basic services can be dealt with at Boynton. Please call our medical information nurse at 612-625-7900 to ask about scheduling an appointment.

Students who pay the Student Services Fee receive most services in the primary care clinic at little or no additional charge.
