Massage therapy is designed to stretch and loosen muscles, improve blood flow throughout the body, facilitate the removal of metabolic wastes resulting from exercise or inactivity, and increase the flow of oxygen and nutrients to cells and tissue.

In addition, massage stimulates the release of endorphins, the body's natural painkiller, into the brain and nervous system. Massage therapy provides a relaxed state of alertness, reduces mental stress, and enhances capacity for calm thinking and creativity.

1. After checking in at Boynton's main appointment desk, you'll be directed to the cashier's window to pay for your massage, and then to the waiting room.
    
2. The massage therapist will call you in and discuss your individual needs.
   Please be sure to discuss with your therapist any information that you think might be helpful (i.e., injuries, surgeries, current stressors, medical conditions).
    
3. You will then be left alone to disrobe completely. You will lay on the massage table, covering yourself with a sheet. The therapist will undrape only the part of the body being massaged, ensuring that modesty is respected at all times. The massage takes place on a comfortable padded table.
   
   Your privacy and comfort will be maintained at all times. If at any time you feel uncomfortable, physically or emotionally, please let the massage therapist know so the issue can be resolved immediately.
