Before coming to Boynton Health Service, I worked with students at the University of Michigan and Central Michigan University. College students’ energy and interest in learning about themselves makes them so much fun to work with in therapy. I feel fortunate to be a part of their college experience.

I serve a dual role at the Mental Health Clinic. As the medical social worker for Boynton I am available to assist students in accessing community resources. In my role as a clinical social worker I work with a variety of mental health issues. However, I have special interests in grief, mood disorders, group therapy, stress management, and relationship concerns. I use an integrated approach to counseling and select different techniques depending on each student’s unique needs. I’m committed to providing a safe and warm atmosphere where students can feel free to express their concerns and be themselves.
