My special interests are the treatment of
mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and obsessive
compulsive disorder.
My role in mental health care is to conduct
diagnostic evaluations and direct medication
management in collaboration with the clinic's
nurse practitioner. I consider both
pharmacological and non-pharmacological
approaches to the treatment of mental health
illness.
I view the physician as an advisor and
educator with patients being presented with
information about reasonable options so that
they can make the treatment decisions whenever
possible. |
