New Health Care Coverage Options
If you were enrolled under the University-sponsored Student Health
Benefit Plan (SHBP) or Academic Health Center Student Health Benefit
Plan (AHC SHBP) during the last semester, you will be eligible to
enroll in the conversion plan.
Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota has teamed up with the
University of Minnesota to offer students like you a guaranteed
option for coverage called the University of Minnesota Student
Conversion Plan. You qualify to choose from five plans offered by
Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota if you enroll within 60 days
of termination of SHBP or AHC SHBP coverage.
