Summer Coverage - NEW! Spring/Summer 08
We know you need health care year round. Now you will have access to the same high quality care from Boynton Health Service throughout the summer without the co-pays or deductibles that might apply at other clinics. As of 2008 the health care coverage you receive at Boynton Health Service during spring semester will extend through the summer - regardless of whether or not you are taking summer classes.

This means you don't have to rush to make appointments in May before spring semester ends, or wait to schedule appointments in the fall. Students who require regular visits, for example Mental Health Clinic patients, may now continue to receive care throughout the summer. Spring semester students who need care in the summer will be covered at Boynton Health Service the same way they were during spring semester.
How does this work?
Students admitted to a degree program who registered for six or more credits spring semester were automatically charged the University's Student Services Fee. Students who pay the Student Services Fee and have health insurance from any provider receive most services at Boynton at no additional cost or at reduced cost after the bill has been processed by their insurance carrier. As of 2008, this spring semester coverage extends through summer term. Degree-seeking students registered for 3 or more credits during summer term will NOT be assessed the Boynton portion of the University's mandatory summer term Student Services Fee, provided they were charged for this fee in Spring 2008.
Students Registered for Summer Term
Who Were Not Registered for Spring Semester
Degree-seeking students registered for 3 or more credits during summer term who did not take classes spring semester will pay the University's mandatory summer term Student Services Fee. Students who pay the Student Services Fee and have health insurance from any provider receive most services at Boynton at no additional cost or at reduced cost after the bill has been processed by their insurance carrier. Payment of the summer term Student Services Fee means you will have summer coverage at Boynton Health Service.
Students Registered for Fall Semester
Who Were Not Registered for Spring Semester or Summer Term
Students registered for fall semester who did not take enough credits during spring or summer term to qualify them for Student Services Fee assessment may be seen at Boynton Health Service, but their care will not be fully covered during the summer. Students insurance plans' co-pays or deductibles will apply.
