For dependents:
A covered student may purchase coverage for his or her spouse,
registered same-sex domestic partner, and/or dependent children.
- Dependents can only be enrolled when the student initially
becomes eligible and is enrolled in the plan, during the open
enrollment period which is the first 30 days of coverage during Fall
semester, or within 31 days of becoming an eligible dependent.
