Boynton Health Service physical therapists provide comprehensive physical therapy care for University students, staff, faculty, and their families. We will provide education about your condition along with appropriate exercise and treatment strategies.
You can expect customized one-on-one care from our staff of licensed physical therapists. We have the experience to treat a wide variety of conditions and will work with you to develop an effective treatment plan to address your specific concerns.
To schedule an appointment, call the appointment line at (612) 625-3222. You may be asked to speak with one of our physical therapists prior to scheduling if you are being referred by a physician outside of Boynton Health Service.
Students who pay the Student Services Fee and have any health plan coverage receive most physical therapy services for just a $5 copayment after the bill has been processed by your health plan. Equipment and medical supplies are not covered by the Student Services Fee. For more information on coverage, see Health Plan Coverage.

Student Services Fee-Paying Students
$5 copayment is due at the time of service. Boynton Health Service provides services for patients with many different health plans. If you have health plan coverage, the clinic will directly bill your health plan. Once you pay the $5 copayment, the balance due after your health plan’s payment is covered by the Student Services Fee.
Staff and Faculty
Copay is due at the time of service. Check with your health plan to determine if your visit will be covered and the amount of your copayment. Many staff and faculty plans cover services at Boynton’s Physical Therapy Clinic. Call Patient Accounting at

Non-Fee-Paying Students
Check with your health plan to determine if your visit will be covered. Your copayment, coinsurance, or the cost of the visit, if not covered, is due at the time of service.
