Conveniently located in the heart of the East Bank, the East Bank Clinic is Boynton’s largest and main clinic facility on the Twin Cities campus.
Boynton’s East Bank Clinic is one of the most comprehensive postsecondary health services in the nation. With a staff of over 200, the East Bank Clinic houses several individual clinics including Dental, Eye, Massage Therapy, Mental Health, Nutrition, Physical Therapy, Primary Care, Women’s, Travel Immunization, and Urgent Care. The East Bank Clinic is also home to a full-service Pharmacy and offers health and wellness services.
Boynton’s East Bank Clinic staff includes licensed and certified physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, certified medical assistants, optometrists, dentists, dental hygienists, mental health care providers (including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers), physical and massage therapists, registered dietitians, and pharmacists.
All University of Minnesota Twin Cities Campus students, faculty, and staff are welcome. Most services are no out-of-pocket cost for full-time, degree-seeking students. See the Health Plan Coverage page for more information on coverage.
Call to make an appointment for almost any health concern, or walk-in to the Gopher Quick Clinic located at our East Bank Clinic for a minor acute condition.

Boynton Health Service will continue to be open Monday–Friday, but will be closed on Saturdays beginning Saturday, May 25. Saturday hours resume on August 31.
Boynton Health Service will have reduced services on Thursday, May 23 due to an important staff meeting. Most of the clinics will be closed.
What’s open: Dental Clinic, Patient Accounting, Pharmacy, Public Health and Communications, Lab, Student Insurance, and Urgent Care.
In honor of Memorial Day, Boynton Health Service will be closed on Monday, May 27.
Light Rail Construction Update:
Roads near Boynton Health Service are under construction. Washington Ave. is closed, but access to Boynton’s main entrance on Church St. is accessible from Delaware St. via East River Rd. or the Washington Ave. Bridge east bank exit. The East River Parking Garage is accessible via East River Rd.
