We recommend that you have your eyes examined yearly. If you are being treated for eye conditions, follow-ups may be required more frequently. An annual exam is especially important for patients wearing contact lenses to evaluate the contact lens fit, prescription, and any changes in the health of the cornea. During the exam, your doctor will evaluate your internal and external eye health, including a check for glaucoma, cataracts, and eye problems associated with systemic diseases such as diabetes and high blood pressure. A vision assessment will determine if there is a need for eyewear or if you are a candidate for contact lenses. A complete eye exam takes 45 to 60 minutes.
We treat eye infections and injuries; and, we examine and manage treatment for dry eye, cataracts, glaucoma, diabetes and macular degeneration.
You don't need an appointment to order eyeglasses. Just bring your current prescription to the Eye Clinic and select from a wide variety of high-quality designer frames available at reasonable prices. Our prices reflect 20–40% off retail. Our friendly and knowledgeable optician will help you make your selection. Eye glasses are available about one week after ordering. We have thin, lightweight, multifocal, and prescription lenses (we offer anti-reflective scratch-resistant, polish-edged lenses for no additional charge); sunglasses, sports and recreational glasses.
