Before Your First Visit
Thank you for your upcoming visit! To speed along your appointment, here are some things you should know before your first visit to Boynton Health Service.
- Know which health plan you have and familiarize yourself with your health plan coverage. You will need to present your health plan card at check in.
- Read the Health Plan Coverage and Billing Basics pages of Boynton’s website to understand how coverage and billing work at Boynton.
- If you’d like Boynton Health Service to have your medical record on hand before your first visit, complete and submit an Information Release Request for Primary Care, Primary Care for International Students, Dental Services, or Mental Health. This is not required. This is most commonly used by patients with a chronic condition who would like the clinic to be aware of their condition prior to their first visit.
- And just a reminder that all new incoming students are required by the University to meet immunization requirements. If you are in need of immunizations, you may contact Boynton’s Immunization Clinic. Please note, immunizations are not covered by the Student Services Fee.
The health care providers at all of our locations—East Bank Clinic, Gopher Quick Clinic, and St. Paul Clinic—specialize in college health. We’re here for you!
