About Boynton's Art

In 2007, Boynton Health Service formed an art committee charged with enhancing the healing environment of Boynton Health Service through art.

All artists represented in Boynton’s collection have a University of Minnesota connection. Most of Boynton’s collection was made possible by art loans, art contests, rotating exhibits, classroom art projects, and generous donations from artists and art patrons. Boynton also purchases artwork on occasion.

From time to time, students studying music therapy have performed live music in clinic waiting areas.

Each year, Boynton’s art committee publishes an art calendar featuring works of art currently displayed at Boynton Health Service.
