Appointment Numbers
To make an appointment at Boynton Health Service, you must call one of the following numbers (depending on the type of appointment you would like to schedule). All clinic appointments can be made through the above number below except for Eye Clinic, Dental Clinic, Mental Health Clinic and the St. Paul Clinic.

Appointment Availability Schedule:

To schedule an appointment with the following clinics, call the appointment numbers indicated below. You can also check the next available appointment by viewing the online schedule of each provider by clicking the "check for appointment availability" link. You will not be able to book an appointment online at this time, but you can call the respective appointment line to indicate your preferred time.

Who can be seen at Boynton Health Service?

Students, staff, faculties, alumni, and families are eligible to use Boynton's services.

Students:
Students who pay the Student Services Fee and have health insurance (sometimes called hospitalization insurance) from any provider receive most services at Boynton Health Service at no additional cost or at reduced cost after the bill has been processed by their insurance provider. See the list of services covered at Boynton Health Service.

The Mental Health Clinic at Boynton Health Service is limited to degree seeking students who have some form of hospitalization insurance and are currently paying the Student Services Fee. The Dental Clinic and Eye Clinic are open to everyone. Students should be aware of their benefits.

What you need to bring with you to an appointment?
  1. Proof of current hospitalization insurance (membership card from your insurance company which includes the company name, your name, and current policy number).
     
  2. University of Minnesota student identification card (U Card) if applicable, or current identification.

Please be ready to show either or both of the above when you check in for your appointment. In most cases, you will also be asked to fill out a few forms during the time that you are waiting for your appointment.

Please make sure and arrive at Boynton for your appointment at the scheduled arrival time (15 minutes prior to your actual provider appointment time) to avoid delays.
