Alcohol Use at the University of Minnesota
Alcohol misuse among college students is one of the major problems confronting higher education. Most college students at the University of Minnesota and other colleges across the nation who chose to drink, do so responsibly. According to a survey conducted in 2003, 72% of University of Minnesota-Twin Cities students* have less than 5 or fewer drinks per week.

(*18-24 years-old undergraduates)

Despite the stories that appear in the media from time to time about drinking among college students, most students at the University of Minnesota and elsewhere are making healthy choices with regard to the use of alcohol.
