When Boynton is closed (see
hours of operation), you need to visit the facility
specified by your health insurance plan. For students, these
visits are not covered by the health service fees that you
paid under the
Student
Services Fee.

University-sponsored Student Health Benefit Plan (SHBP)
members
If you have purchased the University of
Minnesota, Student Health
Benefit Plan and you
need emergency or urgent care, you may proceed to
University of Minnesota Medical Center, Fairview
located near the corners of Harvard Street SE and East
River Parkway.
Other Non-SHBP plans
If you have a plan
other than the University of Minnesota, Student
Health Benefit Plan, you
will need to contact your plan provider to find out if
it covers services at
University of Minnesota Medical Center, Fairview.

Boynton Health Service to University of Minnesota Medical
Center, Fairview
From Church St SE, turn right on Washington Avenue.
Proceed to Harvard Street SE and turn right.
The Emergency Room will be on the west (right) side of the road. |

Directions from the North
Take I-35W south. Turn right onto Highway 280.
Take the University Avenue exit; turn right at the second stoplight.
Stay on University Avenue until it merges with Washington Avenue.
Follow Washington to the left.
Go three blocks and turn left on Oak Street.
Turn right onto Delaware Street.
The Patient/Visitor Parking Ramp will be on your right 1 1/2 blocks
down Delaware Street between Harvard and Walnut streets.

To drop off at the hospital and emergency entrances, continue on
Delaware Street to Harvard Street. Turn left. The entrances face
Harvard Street near the corner of Harvard and East River Parkway.

Take I-94 (east or west) to the Huron Boulevard Exit.
Turn left onto Fulton Street.
Go three blocks and turn right onto Oak Street.
Turn left onto Delaware Street. The Patient/Visitor Parking Ramp
will be on your right 1 1/2 blocks down Delaware Street between
Harvard and Walnut streets. |
